Fellowship Groups at Dixie

Fellowship Groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can

take place. Considering that the early church worshipped in large settings in the synagogues, as well as in homes, we unite together similarly in order to be in deeper fellowship with God and one another. God has reconciled us not only to Himself but also to each other. This "each other" is called His Church. Thus, we intentionally strive toward community through Sunday connect groups, Wednesday family night discipleship groups, Celebrate Recovery, and also our various other ministry groups.

Dixie Gatherings

Sunday Gatherings:

Our Sunday morning gatherings are the beginning for most people at Dixie. We need people who can serve as greeters, as well as members of the sound and media team.

Connect Groups:

Because our Connect Groups are so central to the life here at Dixie, we are always in need of willing people to, lead and co-lead a group as classes grow.

Connect Groups

Life is not meant to be lived alone. In fact, God hates loneliness. You were created to experience life with other people, which is why we encourage you to get into a Connect group.

A Connect group is a group of people who gather each Sunday at 10:15am.  You’ll hang out, study the Word,  pray and have a lot of laughs together.  Connect group also have times throughout the year that they get together for fellowship outside of the church which is a great way to really get to know each other.

Groups come in all shapes and sizes — married couples, singles, men, women, children, youth — the list goes on. No matter where you are in life, there’s a group for you. Ready to dive in?

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a 12 Step Program centered on the person of Jesus Christ.

Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to come alongside and encourage one another in overcoming our Hurts, Hang-ups, and Habits which are affecting our lives.

What are Hurts, Hang-ups and Habits?

HURTS are the effect and aftermath of an offense, trauma, wound or personal choice, which impacts us emotionally, physically, mentally and/or spiritually.

HANG-UPS are patterns of unhealthy emotions with distorted core beliefs toward our circumstances, God ourselves, and others.

HABITS are compulsions, addictions, and/or coping mechanisms developed over time as a way to escape or numb our pain.

Celebrate Recovery offers Hope plus friends who've also experienced our own hurts, Hang-ups and Habits.
