Serving those inside and outside the church.
We exist to bring glory to God by making disciples through gospel-centered worship, gospel-centered community, gospel-centered service, and gospel-centered multiplication. This is our process for discipleship.
Gospel-centered service is the overflow of discipleship, serving those inside and outside the church. One way we pursue and live out this discipleship trait is through volunteer opportunities.
Love God. Love People.
Focus Week is a one-week event usually held in the fall. The church chooses a group in our community for an outpouring of love. Past groups include bank employees, Warriors Center men, downtown employees, school janitors and cafeteria workers, and salon workers.
For 30–40 days beforehand, church members pray for assigned individuals in that group. Each day of Focus Week, the church carries out an activity that expresses the love of Christ in an extravagant way.

YEP! is a hands-on mission, worship, and discipleship experience for students in grades 6–12. The camp is held on the Dixie Hills campus during the last week of June each year.
Students take part in mission-project TRACs, four worship celebrations, and discipleship moments throughout camp. Each TRAC includes five three-hour mission and evangelism projects serving Hardeman County in the name of Jesus.
A guest praise leader and speaker lead worship celebrations. Students and local youth pastors lead discipleship moments throughout camp.
YEP! began in 2013 through a partnership of Dixie Hills Baptist, Hornsby Baptist, and Parsons Chapel Baptist. The founding churches continue to serve together and have welcomed other churches in our community.

Through prayer, financial assistance, and yearly mission trips, Dixie Hills partners with First Baptist Church in Jalapa, Guatemala, under the pastoral leadership of Pastor Beza.
Dixie Hills takes one or two trips to Jalapa each year to assist the church in ministry. Outreach includes witnessing in local schools, VBS day camps, food-box deliveries, street evangelism, medical services, discipleship training, and worship services.
Consider joining an international mission trip. You can also take part through prayer and giving. Select the Guatemala Mission fund when giving online.
We don’t serve our community alone. Dixie Hills supports ministry partners through financial gifts, time, and other resources. Contact the church to learn how you can be involved.
